I'm SO not a beach person. How I ended up living in a sleepy beach town is beyond me. I guess it was the lure of a great apartment. The novelty has worn off. I need a city! I need nightlife, buildings, and 24 hour restaurants.
The town I live in currently is pretty bland. Luckily there is a mall as well as a nice movie theater for some entertainment. Otherwise, I'm not really into trying to bare the freezing coastal water here. The apartment is huge for what I need, but apart from that the wall a/c unit sucks, the complex is full of screaming babies and children, and the building is from the 80's... and not in a good way.
It is time to move on, I declare! Last week, I drove to a city close by that I've had my eye on for awhile. I walked the streets in the middle of downtown, had a smoothie, found a great Bistro, and found even better apartments. I'm very excited to live in a metro center again. I thought I was over the whole ambulance-siren-screaming-hobo-traffic-smelly thing... but the truth is I really don't mind those things about a city. I prefer those bothers than screaming hillbilly children, sweaty apartment, and old carpet.
I found a great building right in the center of everything. They have beautiful apartments (one with a private deck on the 8th floor that is about 900 sq ft) and I can afford it! Can you say photo shoots?! Snow, rain, shower, storms, kiddie pool... I'm all about shooting outdoors, especially when it's right off my living room. :D
Oh the possibilities! Here is a picture of the livingroom/deck...

Today marks a significant day in my life. It is the day I will acquire an Android phone. I've been somewhat behind in the world of phone technology. Let's look at a brief history of my less than impressive cell phone decisions.
I got my first phone in my Senior year of High School. My boyfriend at the time drove me to the local mall, where we purchased matching Nokia cellphones from TMobile. It was grey, the screen had no color, could only show numbers, and had that green glow. Absolutely terrifying. I had that phone for a good 2 years before I bought another! At that point I went to Tmobile for a free upgrade (broke college student) and got something resembled the “Pebble” phones today. Although, the hardware of this phone had, in no way, anything in common with current “Pebbles.” The screen was about 1.5in x 1.5in and could barely handle solid shapes. I had this phone for a year before I accidentally flushed it down the toilet (long story).
It is at this point I made the biggest leap and splurged for a Motorola Razr. It was magenta, and so beautiful. I LOVED this phone at first, and played with it endlessly (even if all I could do was talk, text, and play a measly 3 games). Soon enough (after 5 years!) the novelty wore off. Last spring, I bought a Blackberry Curve 8530 from Virgin Mobile. Have you seen their monthly prices, including web?! I finally stepped into the world of smart phone, and could search the web, access my email, and do all sorts of things. This literally changed my world. But alas, I grow restless with such a phone and I crave more! Plus, the damn thing is all buggy and slow. Pffft, just my luck.
I'm anticipating the receipt of this Android phone (Motorola Triumph) will once again revolutionize my world and open up new possibilities. It's like a brain extension upgrade. :)
Patiently waiting for Fed Ex man... should be here any moment. And when I get the phone, you can be sure there will be an onslaught of photos, videos, and text coming at my twitter page (www.twitter.com/femmeeden) and my facebook page (www.facebook.com/femmeeden). So come join in on my revolution. ;)
EDIT: It's arrived. Yayyyy! Now to wait 4 hours for charge. :P

Went to Taco Bell a couple nights ago during a fit of “fast food craving” to order the usual... 2 bean burritos, no onions, extra cheese. They were OUT of beans. W.T.F. Seriously? It's like McDonalds being out of fries. So, after that mess I drove to the grocery store, only to discover they were out of baked chickens (and I really didn't feel like cooking). Mmm, ok. So I wandered the aisles, helplessly hoping to find something decent. I came across frozen TGIFs Mini Hamburgers, decided they looked easy and tasty enough. Went to the checkout line only to have some weird, crazy looking man ahead of me in the line turned around, blatantly staring at me. I did the obligatory shoulder shrug, like “What's your problem” and he continued staring. Creep. So I booked it out of that line and into another. Got home, microwaved my pathetic meal and decided the burgers were absolutely disgusting. Threw them out. Totally battered and bruised, went down the street to the local Chinese joint. They woked up some veggies and crab rangoon for me. Ahhhh... nutrients! Regardless, last night was a dinner FAIL like no other.
This week I've been editing the main promo video for my website. I know, a “pretty girl” who also knows how to professionally edit video... who would have guessed?! But it's true. I'm an advertising major and I have all sorts of tricks up my sleeve. I even had a video concept, and I must say, it is turning out perfectly! I'm really excited to share it when it's done. It will be on the main page of femmeeden.com when the website is fully completed. Right now it's simply my blog until the real site is built.
Perhaps I'll share a video preview if you're nice enough. ;)

My birthday is July 8th... Did you know?! Spoil me, cause I deserve it! My amazon wishlist: http://amzn.com/w/RB3I9NEN2L6E
Who out there loves the look of latex? Well, a very nice friend of mine sent some gorgeous bright red latex leggings and I wore them for the first time Monday. This is the first time I've ever worn latex (apart from an open cup bra, which was really just small strips of latex, boo). It's a bit of a pain to get on, it is awkward in many ways, but somehow I really love the way it feels and especially the way it looks. I really love rubbing the lubricant over the outside to make it shiny, it's incredibly sexually arousing. One thing I find to be weird is how much my skin sweats underneath. I mean, at the base of the leggings, at my ankles, my skin was soaked from the sweat dripping down from underneath the latex. I was dripping puddles, lol. Anyway, I think I'd like to experiment with more latex... maybe a full catsuit! Mmmm, yea.
Anyway, here is a picture I took (with my new camera remote!) of my new best friend... latex.

Guess who's birthday is coming up?! Mine. I'm hoping it will be a better one than last year. My birthdays usually seem to fizzle rather than sparkle. Maybe I'm doing it all wrong. Perhaps I just really hate knowing one more year of life has become another notch in my bedpost, so to speak. If you're a birthday aficionado please pass on your words of wisdom. And while you're at it... spoil me with something from my wishlist to make this year's celebration a little better... http://amzn.com/w/RB3I9NEN2L6E
On a happier note, I went to a large camping trip festival last week which was a lot of fun. I'm not one for camping, but I like the idea...of it. I just don't do well with rain, cold, and bugs the whole time! I promptly rented a hotel room down the street two days into non stop rain. (I certainly am whiny this week, eh?) However, the festival was fun... good food, good people, good music, and a fun dance party on the last night. I was involved in organizing dancers for the party and I managed to find 3 good girls for the stage. One was a stripper/belly dancer and she was fun to watch, especially to electronic music. Something about belly dancing and electronic goes together so well.
Anywho, here is a pretty cool photo from a shoot I did yesterday (unedited, which is why you can see the backdrop seam!). I told you I'd spoil you. :D
As always, you can find more of me at Femmeeden.com. :)
